I have an Eminence Patriot Red White and Blues in a Dumble cabinet and it's meh.

Tried an EHX 12 and it sounds close to a C12-65s. Had 1265s and they were ok and they are a "go to" speakers for a lot of Dumble and Dumble clone users. Hate Vintage 30s ice pick tone.

Looking for something smooth, balanced, and clear, yet will hold up and stay smooth when using the second channel. I'm not a loud player.

So... your turn. Discuss.

Well ... since you state "Looking for something smooth, balanced, and clear, yet will hold up and stay smooth when using the second channel. I'm not a loud player" ... the obvious choice is the ET-65 ... sounds like you've already been down that road with another variant ...

Dumble players do always LOVE the ET 65, however.

Another really good option would be Reaper HP's ... also a smooth and balanced speaker, but with a Heavy magnet as opposed to the ET's medium magnet.

Please let us know what you decide and how it works out!
