For an egnater 40 watt tweaker head and tele with texas custom pick-ups 

How should I wire 2 G12cs' s into an avatar cabinet for the best sound?

8 or 16 ohm speakers? series or parallel?

 

Lookin for a fat sound with not so much emphasis on the high's.  Kinda jazzy, smooth, light crunch sound.

As long as the final load of the cab matched the amp ... your fine.

 

My suggestion: A pair of 16-ohm speakers wired parallel for an 8-ohm total load.
