Ower of Brunetti singleman 30, which is a boutique version of a Deluxe Reverb with a hint of Dumble, I love the amp. It is loaded with a V30 which I find too focused in the medium and would like to add some sparkle and balance. I use a low or mid gain overdrive pedals such as a Jan Ray clone but I also use a Barber direct Drive to have more gain. I don't use fuzz, I play mostly blues, mainly Texas blues and modern blues, Jazz and Southern blues rock at time. I am seriously thinking of buying a G12C/s. I am more a single coil man and my favorite guitar is a telecaster 62 custom reissue. Can you confirm my choice or am I being wrong? Thanks for answering.

The G12 smooth cone would add a ton of woody, wooly tone, but is a very dark speaker, so definitely not what you want to get "sparkle"!

I totally get what you mean about the V30 having too much mid focus ... and ...
your best option by a mile is the blackhawk HP ... pure MAGIC in a Deluxe ... and yeah baby will it bring the "balance" you're looking for!
If ya can't afford alnico, then an ET65 is the best option ... and defiantly should still achieve your desired outcome quite nicely.
