just looking into which speaker would go good in a fender hot rod. I am playing heavy metal and my cousin has the reaper and loves it. I have seen great test between the vintage 30 and the vet 30 and the vet blew it away. So now im puzzeled which way to go? also i may be getting the mesa throttle box as distortion i currently use a digitech rb 255 which isnt bad i just want the growl any help?

Man ... a lot of folks here have described their HRDX as needing some top end ...
If you find that as well, then go Retro 30 ... otherwise, of the two you mentioned, I'd go Vet 30!

yea thats def one i want my amp has external jacks and im thinking about running a 4 12 with vet 30s and reapers through it ??
