I have a 4x12 mixed with ET65s and Green Berets, and really like the sounds I'm getting from them.  I've noticed there aren't many others using this mix.  Curious why and if anyone has tried this combo (and opinions).

Yea, I really like that too ... if you're going for stone-cold classic Marshall crunch!

That combo makes a single 4x12 sound like two, and two sound like 4, and 4 sound like ... well, you get the idea!

Hi Mark.J.Cochrane,

that was a well done idea to mix some diffrent speakers!

I think over it too, but as I use only 2x12er cabs I want to take

Green Beret plus Reaper 55hz or GB and a ET65???

So what is your personal meaning of the tone articulation

Green Beret vs Greenbacks Celestion???

And by the way better a closedback cab for my mix idea????

It will be a pleasure to hear from you reply.

Greetings Holly from Germany

I like WGS more than other speakers. Have tried some Celestion V30 I don't like

this tone, G12-T75 again not my way, Eminence Wizard too gritty and trebly,

Jensens not my style.....

WGS ET 65 I really like. Reaper is another story but really good way???
