Hey, I'm looking to upgrade the speakers in my Peavey Valveking 4x12 cab. I play a lot of hardcore/metal genres. I play through a Peavey 6505+ 120 watt head. I want speakers that will have a good overall tone that will cut through the mix and have a decent midrange. I'm not a big fan of the Sheffield speakers that are currently in this cab. What would be the best speakers that could handle a lot of high gain distortion?

I'd recommend 4 HM75's ... especially if you drop-tune at all ...
