I recently bought a reaper 55 and Green beret to use then in a 2x12 cabinet. I have some questions.

1) I have two amplifiers, Vox AC30 head and Laney LC50II (50 watts). Is it appropriate to use the Laney amp with this cab? (laney=50w, cab=50w) I had understood that is needed more watts than the amp gives.

2) I need to break-in the speaker, but I can't use it every day (I need it to record mostly) ¿Can I use pink noise through these to speed up the process?

Thanks :)

PS: Sorry for my english

1. You should be fine with the 50-watt Laney ... when WGS rates a speaker at a given wattage ... they MEAN it ... in true tube watts!

2. WGS speakers require far less break-in time than Celestions, so you're probably worrying too much.  About 10 hours of good steady play and they should be there.
