Hey all-

I am new to the site, but everything seems to be great quality. I am about to order two of the new(ish) Retro Channel RR1, the solid state Wreck style amps. They are 100 watts, and Lance Keltner has told me that the cab has to be rated at 100 watts or it will blow the speakers. I plan on giving each head its own cab, but am not possitive on what speaker combination I should use. I am a fan of both the british and american style sound, so long it is fat, wide, deep, and dark. Do I want to set both cabs up the same, or can I set one up one way, and the other different? Please excuse me, I am new to the speaker world. I plan on having one set a little bit more saturated than the other, but running both amps together all the time.

I play primarily heavy rock/blues, but am beginning to dabble in straight up American style rock and roll. I dont run my overdrive over the top, but I usually keep it nicely saturated and use my volume knobs to clean up when needed. I plan on running delay in the FX loop of one amp, and a few more FX in the other amp.

Since it is a solid state amp, and I pretty much only play in my basement, I will be playing mostly at bed room levels... but I also play out from time to time, so what ever set up I use needs to be able to do both.

Deffinitely looking forward to getting this project underway! Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

Thanks,
Logan
