I have a 100 watt plexi head and am looking to fill a avatar closed back cab with speakers. I want a greenback style speaker but at 50 watts each, it looks like the invader will not have enough power handling for this amp. Weber and scumback make higher wattage speakers in this range, does wgs make anything not shown on the site that is comparable?

WGS rates speakers the way they were rated in the 50's & 60's ... in true RMS "Tube" watts.
Sooo ... two 50-watt speakers are safe with a 100-watt tube amp :-)
Thanks for answering my question Vaughn, currently waiting for my two UK made V30's to sell on ebay (ends Wednesday). Once they do I'll most likely be placing an order!
