Hi

I play mostly hard rock and metal. I know for definite I want the Retro 30 and I know I want it's partner to at least get close to matching the Retro's 75W so we're looking at an ET65, ET90, Brit Lead, HM75 and Liberator.

I haven't read anything about the HM75 or Liberator pairing with the Retro so those are probably outside bets unless someone can tell me otherwise.

I was pretty set for a while on the ET90, I'm just wondering could that ever be a bit over-bright? Is that a valid concern?

Which of the speakers mentioned would help the Retro cover the most tonal range and most importantly which would help give the most tight, chunky low end when I'm chugging away on the palm-mutes, as I love to do so much.

BTW my cab can be closed or semi-open if that influences your recommendation.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Given everything you want ... my suggestion is the Brit Lead, for sure!

OK, I'm gonna put my tonal future in your hands and go with the Brit Lead. Thanks for the response Vaughn.
