I love my Cube.. but I am planning a remodel of it so I can get more oomf.

What I am planning on is a pair of 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel so that the combo is driving a pair of 12s. I also plan on an extension cabinet also with a pair of 16 ohm speakers in parallel.

Ideally, I'd like the speakers to be very lightweight as well.

Anyways, I do make rather full use of the Roland's sounds. I literally go from jazzier sounds to a very articulate heavy rock/stoner sound via the Vox model (it gets VERY nasty but still decently articulate).

What of your speakers would you recommend?

Thanks!

Man ... truth is, we don't do "very lightweight" ... cuz that generally means Neodymium!

Not only is Neo expensive ... well ... all of us at WGS have yet to hear a truly great sounding Neo guitar speaker.  They are somewhat acceptable for PA & Bass drivers ... where just clean uncolored sound is the desired sound ... but as guitar drivers, they just always wind up sounding flat & uninspired!

We ARE working on NEO designs ... but rest assured none will see the light of day untill they keep up with AlNiCo & Ceramic designs 100%!
