I have a semi hollow body epiphone dot. My plan is to build my own 1x12 speaker enclosure (semi open back) and pick up one of the various $200 low watt small tube amp heads. My ideal sound is going to match the guitar with classic rock and blues tones. Sound quality is very important I woukd love something that has substance and good character that lets you feel what your playing. So please bring on speaker suggestions and potentialy which small tube amps you like.
