I would like to know what are my best choices with the british series..i'm running a 64 blackface bassman AA864,I have a bassman style 2X12 closedback cab with the divider..also,should i use insulation? ..like to keep the cleans sparkly with some decent bottom end and woodsy sounding .style cab with the ... was thinking maybe a Veteren 30 or ET-65 with a retro 30 or green beret? Help me out here fellow tone meisters!!..

Easy: ET65 w/a Retro 30 ... I've used that combo w/my '65 Bassman, and it seriously rocks. No insulation needed ...
Would a reaper HP 50 watt be a consideration for more chime rather than the retro 30? since the et-65 seems a bit dark.. discisions discisions!..
Actually, the Retro 30 has considerably more "chime" than the Reaper HP. When you pair the Ret30 w/the ET65 you get a net sound that is very thick and juicy, yet has a very chimey and articulate upper-midrange and top end as well. That's why I like that combo so much :)
