I have a 1x12 cabinet from an old amp that has a 12" Green Beret in it. Sounds really cool with my Princeton for getting more of a british grind.

I was curious about running that Green Beret cab with the stock speaker (they're in parallel at 8 ohms each which is technically out of spec for the PRRI but it does work and the amp hasn't blow up yet).

I'm basically talking about turning the Princeton into a little stack, with the 1x12 closed-back Green Beret on the bottom, and the 1x10 open-back Princeton combo on top.

The problem is that the stock Jensen is inefficient (~95db to the Green Beret's 99db) and it just gets totally overpowered.

Would your G10C (or G10C/S) be a good match for that Greent Beret? I know the G10 works for that amp on its own, just wondering if it would match up at all with the other speaker.

Or if you had any other suggestions that's awesome too. Thanks!

anyone know anything about the sensitivity of the G10 speakers?

The G10's are about 99dB 1w/1m 1K tone ... even higher in the 200-700hz range- so they are a bunch more efficient than your stock speaker ... and about on-par with the GB.
