Hello everyone,

I am getting my Ceritone OTS Mini in a couple of weeks. It is a 20W tube amp. What would be the most suitable speaker to have with this Dumble style amp?

I practice, record and mix in a small home studio, 20'x 20'. Small venues if I am on stage, PA available for mic.

I like cleaner type of sound with bell like  ringing or with slight overdrive, kind of mellow overdrive if there is such. Something that resonates in your body and make you feel reaching for a glass of good single malt. Not to say that I do not play heavier more overdriven tunes with good sustain.

Listening to Warehouse clips the most appealing tone I've heard was from the G12C/S. I absolutely love the clen tones of that speaker. It is 75W, would it be a good choice for a 20W amp? If not then what would you suggest?

Best regards, Antal

I'd only go with the G12C/S if you like VERY warm, fat tones with subdued highs.  If so ... you'll be in heaven.  If not ... I would suggest the Blackhawk 50 if you can afford Alnico, or the ET65 if not.
