After almost 3 decades, rather than sell the workhorse Peavey 240T Deuce because I don't like the tone, thinking of selling the Black Widow set.

For what they sell on ebay, I can replace with JBL clones.  Not sure which one Skynryd played through.  What is the WGS version?

Anyhow, I thought these speakers were incredibly valuable.  Maybe not so much.  I guess they are more of a loudspeaker type of tone, rather than bluesy.

Or I might go with Invaders to capture that mid-70s tone.

Kinda hard to find good reliable tube amps nowadays for cheap.

Hard to let go.  But when I hear WGS, I say to mayself, "What was I thinking?"

Yea ... the BW's were more PA voiced than Guitar!

Anyway, our G12C/S is almost a JBL D-series ... but without the aluminum dust cap.

My choice in that amp would be ET65's ... or the new ET90's.
