So I was reading good things about the WGS ET65 in a Deluxe Reverb, so I decided to replace my OEM Jensen with one to see what the hype was all about. I got the new speaker in, made sure the polarity was correct and fired it up. I always use the Vibrato channel so I plugged in there. I usually dont turn it up past 2 when I am just playing around inside. It was barely audible. I had to turn it up to 4 to get much sound. And then it was just all treble and no bass whatsoever. I checked the tubes to see if I had knocked one loose, and everything looked fine. I put the OEM Jensen back in and everything was good. I tried it in another amp and the same thing, no bass all treble and extremely quiet. Am I missing something or is it just a bad speaker?
